There are so many light companies out there, picking which way to go is like drawing straws. You just don’t know what you’ll get. There are high end American Made lights out there that are pretty great, but what about the guy who can’t afford or don’t want to drop $500 bucks for a set of lights, not to mention if you rarely get out on the trail at night to even get to use them. What’s out there for that group?

AUXBEAM offers supper affordable lights that everyone can afford. The company offers many options in pod or bar style LED’s that are easy to install and look good. In this case, a set of 3 inch, 20watt, Phillips square LED fog light. The pods look great out of the box. The pod seems to be sealed nicely to keep, out the elements. 20watts gives you plenty of brightness for most of us and for just over $55 bucks for the set, the pods will make a great holiday gift for any off-roader.

AUXBEAM sells just about everything separately, so if you want to upgrade your wiring you won’t be wasting money by having to toss the one that comes with the kit. You will also want to be sure to buy mounts for you lights. Nothing worse than receiving your lights in the mail and having to have them sit until mounts arrive.

All in all the cost is the big winner here. The lights seem to have a nice build quality and they do look great, so regardless if you’re holiday shopping form someone in your life or wanting to try some lights for yourself, give AUXBEAM a shot.
